It's not so much smaller in the width, it's still pretty wide, but the depth is quite short. Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2019 Buick Enclave- Video

Today on our 2019 Buick Enclave, we're going to be taking a look at the Curt aluminum hitch mounted cargo carrier.Now my absolute favorite thing about this carrier is how easy it's going to be to put on and take off. And that's because it's extremely lightweight, since it is made from aluminum. And we're not going to have to worry about it rusting or looking beat off either.I also liked the fact that this is going to be somewhat more of a compact cargo carrier. So it's probably not going to be a huge deal if you do decide to leave it on for a while, when it comes to parking or driving around in those tight spots.Now, as far as exactly how much length it's going to add to the back of your Enclave, from the bumper to the edge of our carrier, it's going to be right about 25 and a half inches.It's also going to sit nice and high up off the ground. Exactly how much from the ground to the bottom here That's right at about 18 inches. more

Lets Go Aero Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2017 Buick Envision- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Buick Envision, we're going to be test fitting the Let's Go Aero 77 by 32 Gear Cage FP6 Slide Out Cargo Carrier for two inch hitches, part number 801397.This has a 300 pound carrying capacity and it also has a wiring set up for it, so once plugged in both lights will work in conjunction with your vehicle. It also has attachment points for your license plate should you need one. And while with nothing in it we have full rear hatch access, normally I would give you a measurement which is going to be the break over point and that would be whenever your hatch would make contact with whatever it is you're hauling. However, one of the perks about this cargo carrier is that it slides out away so you don't have to worry about the break over point measurement. You simply come up to the front, remove the clip and then the pin, which just unscrews and then with everything loaded up you can pull this out, and it also has a safety strap to make sure you don't go too far when you do pull this out. Now we have full hatch access without having to worry about any break over point.To put everything back, you simply just reverse that, push everything back into place and then re-install the pin and clip. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Buick Envision we're going to be test fitting the Let's Go Aero 66 x 24 Boss Hog Slide Out Cargo Carrier for 2" hitches, part number H01472. This has a carrying capacity of 300 pounds, has plenty of space to store your gear, and all around the border here you have tie down points for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. At the fronts here we do have lights installed so this can hook up to your electrical system, and it also has a point to put your license plate if needed.It also has reflective tape on either side for better visibility at night, as well as the two reflectors up towards the front. With nothing in it we do have full access to our rear hatch of course. Normally we would give you a break over point measurement, and that's going to be the point where your hatch would make contact with whatever it is your hauling. But one of the nice things about this particular cargo carrier is if you come up to the front you'll see this pin and clip.We'll remove that and loosen it up. more

We already have it installed on our car, let's go ahead and go over a couple features here. It does have this railing all the way around, which will provide tie downs for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords, and there's a wide variety of aftermarket accessories you can get and find on etrailer.com such as this bike rack here which will grip your bike by the fork mounts.Up at the front underneath here we do have two reflectors to provide better visability at night. With nothing installed right now we do have full access to our rear hatch as you can see here. But one of the nice things is you can have this fully loaded up and not have to worry about that break over point measurement because up at the front here we have this pin and anti-rattle knob here that once removed you can pull this out all the way with your gear loaded up. Then you have full access to your hatch without having to remove any of your gear to get to it. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Buick Envision, we're gonna be test fitting the Let's Go Aero BigBoss Cargo Carrier for two-inch hitches, part number 801465. This measures 24 inches by 48 inches, and has a 300 pound carrying capacity.Around the lip here, all the way around our cargo carrier, we do have these points, and that can be used as tie-down points for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords to tighten down everything while you travel.On the ends here, on both sides, we do have reflective tape to provide better visibility in night. Well, we also have these two points here on either side which you can either install lights, which are sold separately, or you can use this as, excuse me, or you can use this as a license plate holder should the cargo that you are holding block your license plate view.With everything installed, right now with nothing in it, of course we have full hatch access, but there's gonna be a couple of hitch measurements that I wanna give you. First is gonna be the break over point measurement and that's gonna be whenever your hatch is gonna come into contact with what it is your hauling. In this case, it looks like it's gonna be about 17 inches, so just keep that height in mind. Measuring from the edge of the bumper, our closest point is gonna be about two inches to this edge here. more

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2012 Buick Enclave- Video

Today on this 2012 Buick Enclave, we're going to be test fitting the 20 x 60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2-inch hitches, part number C18151. This have a carrying capacity of 500 pounds and it has this mesh floor on the bottom, and that's going to make it easier to clean. We also have this rail all the way around the cargo carrier, and that can serve as a tie-down point for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. With the cargo carrier in this position folded out, I'll go ahead and give you some measurements here. From the edge of the bumper to the edge of our cargo carrier itself, we've added about 33 inches to the rear of the vehicle. For our ground clearance to this edge here, that's going to be about 15-1/2 inches. The closest point to our bumper to this edge here, that's going to be about 12 inches. One other measurement I'd like to give is from the center of the hitch pinhole to the edge of our cargo carrier, and that's going to be about 16 inches, so keep that in mind if you have other hitches. more

Today on our 2010 Buick Enclave, we're doing a test fit of the Let's Go Aero GearCage, part number HCR222. Now, this is 48 x 32, and has a weight capacity of 300 pounds. The first thing we're going to do is take a few measurements here. The ground clearance is going to be first. Way up under here, up under the bottom of our carrier, we're going to have about 15-1/4 inches of clearance down to the bottom of this bolt. Overall to vehicle, we're adding about 40-1/2 inches, and our closest point is going to be about 6-1/2 inches away just there. Now, on our Enclave, we do have dual exhaust. There's one exhaust on the passenger and driver side. more

It is also going to have a sturdy 2-inch shank that's going to attach to our 2-inch receiver using that 3/4 inch anti-rattle bolt to help reduce the sway, rattle and wobble that you normally have in your cargo carriers. Hollywood Racks Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Buick Enclave- Video

Today on our 2015 Buick Enclave, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Hollywood Racks cargo carrier. Now this cargo carrier in particular, part number HR1485 is going to fit on the backs of your two cargo carrier, or two bike racks, excuse me, from Hollywood Racks. And one's gonna be the one that you see here today, which is gonna be the SE2 two with Hollywood Racks. SE2, and that's gonna be part number HR1450. It'll also fit in just the sport rider, which will be part number HR1400. With those two bike racks, on the back side here there's a reflector that can be removed. And once you remove that reflector, you'll then be able to place your cargo carrier on the back side. more

Today on our 2015 Buick Enclave we're going to be doing a test fit of the Let's Go Aero GearCage. This is going to be 32 inches wide by 48 inches long. It's going to have that nice base here so you don't need to worry about losing any things or any items through it. It's going to offer a sturdy steel construction with a 300 pound weight capacity, and a 2 inch shank attaching to our 2 inch receiver, via a 78 inch anti-rattle ball that's going to help to secure it and keep it from wiggling around, rattling or bouncing around at the back of your vehicle. Today on our 2015 Buick Enclave we'll be doing a test fit of the Pro-series Solo Cargo Carrier. This is a 31" X 47" cargo rack with a sturdy steel construction and a 2" shank for 2" hitches only. It has a 400 pound capacity and your pin and clip are included. This will be part number PS1040100. Let's go ahead and insert this into our receiver. Today on our 2015 Buick Enclave we're going to be doing the test fit of the MaxxTow 20 by 47 cargo carrier. This has a solid aluminum construction and a 500 pound capacity. It's got a 2" shank for 2" hitches only and it's going to be part number MT70108. Let's go ahead and fit this into our enclave. With these Enclaves the receiver is going to be quite a ways under there so let's go ahead and crawl underneath and line up our pinholes, insert our included pin and clip. Curt 17x46 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Buick Enclave- Video

Today, on our 2015 Buick Enclave, we'll be doing a test fit of the Curt Cargo Carriers, 17x46 inch, 500 pound capacity, steel constructed, cargo carrier for 1-1/4 inch and 2 inch hitches. We have a 2 inch hitch here today, so let's go ahead and put on our carrier. It's going to be part number C18145. Insert that into your 2-inch receiver, just make sure your plastic adapter gets in there the right way, there you go. Then we'll go and line up our pin holes. Once you got your pin holes lined up go ahead and insert your anti-rattle bolt that's included and thread that in as far as you can by hand. more

It's going to be a sturdy steel construction with a 500 weight capacity, a 2" shank for 2" hitches only, and it's going to be part number 52018. Just as a reference for this part, it does not come with your hitch pin and clip, so if you'd like to obtain one you can get it on our website at etrailer.com, part number PC3. Let's go ahead and take our shank and insert it into our receiver. Once you have it inserted let's go ahead and line up our pinholes. Once your pinholes are lined up, go ahead and slide in your pin and your clip. more

UWS Aluminum Cargo Carrier Review - 2012 Buick Enclave- Video

Today on our 2012 Buick Enclave, we will be test fitting the 23 X 51 alluminium cargo carrier by UWS part no. UWS03511. To begin our test fit we will simply slide the cargo carrier shank into the hitch, lign up the hitch pin hole and insert the hitch pin. We can then put the safety pin on the other side of the hitch which will secure it to the vehile. We will go ahead and give you a few measurement at this point from the closes point of the cargo carrier to the back of the vehicle is more an inch. The inside openning measures 20 and 3/8 inches wide by 48 and 1/2 inches long, by 5 and 5/8 high. more

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2012 Buick Enclave- Video

Today on our 2012 Buick enclave, we'll be test fitting the curt 20 X 48 cargo carrier part no. C18145. A quick note about this cargo carrier, it will work in both inch and 1/4 and 2 inch hitches using the included space We will slide the cargo carrier shink into the hitch we'll lign up the hitch pin hole and insert our anti retal bolt. We can then tighten it down with a wrench. Once it's tight, our cargo carrier is secured to the vehicle and we can go ahead and load it up. We'll go ahead and give you a few measurements on our cargo carrier, the insert dimentions of our cargo carrier arre 46 and 3/8 inches long by 17 and 1/2 inches wide by 5 and 1/2 inches tall. more
